Ms. P finally got the results of her sleep study. Clinically significant apnea is 5 breathing stoppages an hour. She had over 60, so more than one a minute. No wonder she's been sleepy all the time!
She's got to call the doctor back and get hooked up with the home medical equipment company that works with her insuance, but the doctor wants that to happen as soon as possible, so we've got our fingers crossed that we can get this taken care of pretty quickly.
Meanwhile, my sister's surgery was scheduled for three hours ago, so I'm waiting to hear how she is. I'm not looking forward to spending three days tending to her, but three nights sleeping by myself (and thus without Ms. P's apnea!) will probably perk me right up.
