At the risk of asking a silly question: given that you feel tired, given that you observe naps to help against feeling tired; why not take a nap :-)


Because I'm *terrible* at taking naps. Either I can't fall asleep, or I do fall asleep and I sleep for two hours and then it takes me three hours to really wake up. It's no good. Well, it's fine if I don't plan on getting anything done the rest of the day!


The trick is to set the alarm clock for 25 minutes. I find that is usually enough; more than that and I too need a long time & some stimulants to get going again.
